Benefits of Oral Sex
May 9th, 2013
We all know that oral sex feels good, but did you know that it’s great for you too? It’s true!
Some of the health benefits come from oxytocin – a naturally occurring hormone that relieves pain and makes people feel good. During climax, oxytocin is released into the body. This lowers stress and depression, helps to relieve pain and even helps you sleep better.
Oral sex boosts cardio health and lowers blood pressure. It’s a form of exercise; it burns calories. And it is believed that the more ejaculations a man has, the lower his risk of prostate cancer.
There was a Dutch study which showed that swallowing semen lowered a woman’s risk of preeclampsia (dangerously high blood pressure that can occur during pregnancy). And a North Carolina State University study showed that women who regularly preformed fellatio reduced their risk of breast cancer by as much as 40%.
Beyond the health benefits, oral sex spices up relationships. It increases intimacy with your partner because of the level of trust it requires from both parties. And remember the oxytocin? That’s also the bonding hormone – it makes you feel close and generous toward your partner.
So skip the gym tonight. Get healthy at home!
